The José Plínio Baptista School of Cosmology (JPBCosmo School) reviews every two years relevant topics in Theoretical Physics. Advanced courses and review seminars focus on the state of the art of the chosen topic.
The 5th edition of the JPBCosmo School is devoted to astrophysical objects such as white dwarfs, neutron stars and black holes. The extremely intense gravitational field in the vicinity of these objects, as well as their internal structure make them a major area of research in modern astrophysics.
