A bus is scheduled to transport the registered participants from the federal university (UFES), at Vitória-ES, to the place of the event on September 29, at 17:00h. The return to Vitória will be on October 05 at 19:00h. The trip lasts at least 1:30h (please, take this into account when planning your trip to Vitória).
How to get in Vitória
Vitória is the capital of the Espírito Santo (ES) state and it is well connected to all mainly capitals cities in Brazil.
Taxi service
Vitória has an official taxi service serving the city, white cars with an orange stripe. Payments should be made preferable in cash, but sometimes is possible to pay by card (ask for it before). Both the bus station and the airport have taxi stations therein. A taxi from the Rodoviária to UFES should cost around R$ 45,00 and from the airport to UFES about R$ 20,00.
There are also private companies such as Uber and 99. They work through their mobile apps and can be much cheaper than a taxi. In this case, payment through the app is the preferable option.
Public transportation
The public transportation in Vitória works with buses only. The payment for the service are made directly inside the vehicles and the cost is approximately R$ 4,00. There are several lines going from the Rodoviária to UFES: 527-T. Carapina, 506-T. Laranjeiras and 509-T. Carapina are among them. From the airport to UFES, there are the lines 539-Jd. América, 541-T. Vila Velha, 123-Bela Vista and 122-Rodoviária.
Money exchange
The Brazilian Currency is the Real (R$). There are few currency exchange offices in Vitória, the main options being located in the airport and Shopping Vitória. The great majority of the commercial activities, including restaurants, bars and hotels, accept payment by credit card. Mastercard and Visa are the more commons accepted cards.

- By plane: Vitória is served by the local airport Eurico de Aguiar Salles with many daily direct flights from Rio de Janeiro, São Paulo, Brasilia and other cities to Vitória. The airport is located about 10 minutes from UFES by car.
- By bus: The central bus station of Vitória (Rodoviária) is also connected by daily buses from many capitals. From Rio de Janeiro and Belo Horizonte the trip lasts around 8h and, from São Paulo, about 15h. UFES is located about 30 minutes by car from the bus station.
